Hi all!
For anyone still following the Washington Gas transmission line going through Pimmit Hills, in Falls Church, we are so excited to have successfully gotten the Board of Zoning Appeals to vote against the utility company 6-1! They were mandated to have to go through the Board of Supervisors and pass a planning commission review. Unfortunately, they appealed this decision to Fairfax County circuit court, and the neighborhood is now pitching together to try and raise money for the legal fees to respond to their two lawsuits.
I was writing to ask if you would be able to share the GoFundMe link among your social media sites or allies? Or, if there are other opportunities to speak to your groups about what is happening in Pimmit Hills, that would be greatly appreciated.
